Draft Convention on the prohibition of development, production, stockpiling, transfer and use of uranium weapons and on their destruction.

The International Day of Action to Ban Uranium Weapons

November 6, 2004-- Non Governmental Organizations (NGO's) from around the globe will participate in an international day of action coordinated by the International Coalition to Ban Uranium Weapons. This day was chosen to coincide with the United Nations International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict. Activities are planned in Belgium, England, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands and the United States. Planned events include petition drives, lobbying visits, symposiums, photo exhibits, marches and more.
